The Biggest Reason Why Barack Obama Won The Election <<< See Rich Schefren’s Article & Comments Here.

Thanks Rich and All, A Great topic and discussion!

If it’s Social Marketing, the principle of OPENNESS comes into play. Yet, before this, the man Obama has CHARACTER, the huge amount necessary to cultivate wisdom while observing a society and world in deepening crisis. While clearly earning a right to enjoy the cynical self-serving freedoms of elitist privilege, his Vision goes beyond this, I hope way beyond and UNSHAKEABLY (as ‘copywriting’ said above).

Can we all agree that Bush and conservative supporters play the OPENNESS principle grudgingly at best? I mean, how many secrets and walls does it take to kill a freedom loving citizenry?? These being the folks Palin was brought on to galvanize which she did wonderfully at the cost of anyone craving some degree of OPENNESS in our public life rejecting McCain.

Speaking of Money, I believe that social marketing brought in impressive amounts of ‘little money’ and made for operational strength early on and long-term. Big money came on gradually and biggest when the win was a best bet. But BUYING an election, as in the ability to blanket media markets with more ads than your competitor is just a bad excuse for losing. I figure an undecided voter is either numbed or dead if they’re not following up each add with online research into its relative truth value. Again, OPENNESS, but now vsv. the uncontrollable blogosphere and generally how the web has to operate if its going to remain remotely affordable enough to become the wonderful human resource we all HOPE it’s becoming.

Character, Openness, Collective Hope…I’ll bet on Obama’s faith in these principles….and perhaps remarkably, our own.      namaste, Pierre

Faith, Patriotism & The promise of Freedom.

November 11th, 2008

Where do we draw the line between Faith & Patriotism? While these can be fused effectively, the various ways in which this takes public form seem to become vying ideologies shaping oppositional social movements in competition for leverage of public power. I must admit that my nation is not the kingdom of God, however optimally it presents merciful opportunity to be included in, motivated by and work for this compassionate vision of human society. Projecting the sacred city-state of Jerusalem to universal dimension is an absolutely thrilling vision, as long as it remains mercifully inclusive of a character building opportunity to distill my best ability to love like Jesus. The promise of American freedom is equally fulfilling for me as long as it presents this opportunity in a way that any who enjoy or wish to are willing rooted in exploring the mutuality of the public and private dimensions of the enterprise.

Love Wins!

Nice…..Got my first OBAMA GIFT today.  A new modem/router for dsl setup found on Google first page via Craig’s List…..last minute, steep discount, delivered to my door, during rush hour, with a smile…..who do I thank for this?  She “over-delivered”…..I’m Grateful.

As we begin to relax from our national state of Terror there’ll be great opportunity for Grace to re-emerge as our faithful counterpart to Freedom.  Perhaps those of us who’ve entrusted our lives to desperation logic will begin to see that Love IS actually winning.  I hope you agree.
